Disney Part 2

After the 11+ mile day on Monday - we needed a recovery slow day. We actually slept in (a little), had a wonderful breakfast, and recovered in the pool. It was great. We then headed to Disney Springs for shopping and great food! We were all very happy we did not head to another park on this day after having such a long - but fun - day at EPCOT.

This sushi was amazing!

This was us in the morning - we were tired...

Animal Kingdom day! After the much needed rest, on Wednesday we were off to Animal Kingdom. The girls were excited as they haven't been there in a long time.

We nailed navigating Animal Kingdom - plus it reached 116 degrees that day. It was crazy crazy hot. We went against the crowds and rode the Yeti rollercoaster 5 times. Yes 5 times. All walk-ons. Then we rode Dinosaur a couple of times before going to the other areas of the park.

I love this picture - cracks me up.

Kevin!

The pictures are a little out of order since I sourced them from everyone, but we didn't expect to stay at AK all day, but did last until about 4pm. We then got cleaned up and headed to an absolutely amazing dinner at the hotel. Bourbon Steakhouse was 10 out of 10!

We jokingly and then did it - had to pet the goats. Heidi was so excited to pet the goats and animals. Lucy was out as soon as they pooped.

We were actually willing to go on the water ride because of the heat! We were soaked and then dry in no time!

This was a special lounge at Animal Kingdom.

Lucy loves her cheesburger pods!

Last Day! We went to Hollywood Studios, which is another favorite of ours.

This is out of order - but Chris managed to get his popcorn bucket, filled with popcorn onto the plane for the ride home and was very happy.

Great food!

We made sure to take lots of breaks in AC.

Taking a break in Olga's bar in the Star Wars area of Hollywood Studios.

Lucy's first upside down coaster - she didn't love it, but she didn't hate it!

And just like that, another trip in the books for us! It was hot, but it did mean the crowds were lower and we got to do everything we wanted. We survived by taking lots of breaks, the UV umbrellas helped, and the cooling towels. Until next time!
