Lucy is done now down with school and the last day of school would not be complete with out ice cream. We went to a local place and met a few friends there. More on that later...
Random - Not that I love deer that much, but we have a pair of fawn twins! They are tiny and cute.
Our front door has been a sad faded grey/blue color for some time now and I finally got around to painting it. Is the color way more blue than I thought it would be - yes, but it is still better than the faded previous version. It was supposed to be a midnight navy type vibe, but it still works. I guess this is why people do a test color, but nope. We committed.
And in another random turn of events - Heidi has a new car! We knew her little Subaru wasn't going to be forever and we were at the cusp of do we pump more money into the car until the wheels fall off or do we go ahead and get her something from this century - Chris went hunting and actually found a great car! It is a 2023 Jeep Compass with only 13K miles on it and is literally brand new. Heidi is THRILLED!
Lucy was in a little shock that 1. We switched and bought another car so quickly and 2. It was such a nice car.
Lucy and her friends were featured on some social media for the ice cream shop. They were the typical giggly teens. :)
Summer has begun! Just two more weeks until Heidi's grad party and she turns 18 this weekend! Busy time but very exciting.
