Getting Closer to Christmas...

Was hard at work on Friday when I came out to this sign in the hallway... Looks like Chris was up to something!

Gym time for Lucy... I think Remy might enjoy Gym time more - it's usually involving a ball and Remy thinks it's play time for sure! I wonder if the gym teacher is actually looking at these pictures - I've been basically sending him pictures of our dog for 4 months...

At 7pm sharp - Chris hosted a party - complete with cookies, homemade hot chocolate, homemade whipped cream, homemade Irish cream and a bunch of different toppings. It was delicious! It was a fun change of pace and event for an evening.

Angel is quite a naughty elf...

This is Remy and his main toy - Man Wolf. He has a six pack and is the weirdest toy ever, but Remy can't live without him.

The kids have been starring at the presents from Grandma Babs and Grandpa D for a while now and we decided might as well jump start the holiday season! We had our gift opening and did a Zoom call with the grandparents. It worked out well! It isn't the same as being able to be together, but we are making the best of it!

Heidi spent the day setting up and playing with her new lights and photo printer and Lucy seriously worked on Legos all day. All Day. She was upset because she didn't finish the plane she received. I have never seen her focus that many hours on something!

Almost Christmas time! The girls just have 4 days of school this week and then they are off! I'm working all week and part of next, but Christmas is just around the corner!!!

Snow Days!

We went from being fall and nice days to getting dumped on and receiving 15 inches of snow! The girls were excited because they got TWO snow days last week - TWO! I was worried they were still going to have school with this whole remote learning thing, but that's where our principal is awesome. She believes in snow days for kids AND teachers. We of course had to work but I swear the girls went outside every hour to play!

These pictures are a little out of order, but Lucy was trying to catch the first snow flake!

Remy did NOT like the snow at first. Mind you, this was when it was still storming and then kids were still in bed. Once the girls went and played in the snow, he was ALL about it!

Decorating is done!

Lucy sometimes joins me while I workout in the AM. It's cute.

Oh and December 1st marks the first day of our elf returning. This time she brought a new pet with her. So now we have Angel the Elf, Cookie the reindeer (who is missing a chunk of his antler because of Remy) and new Frosty the dog. Heidi has figured it out but she knows... if you don't believe - you don't receive.

This time she brought breakfast...

Oh man...

Finding different ways to learn spelling words with Lucy.

Heidi sent us this picture - Remy snuggles in quickly for bed!

Oh Angel...

Nine more days of school for the girls! Christmas is almost here!
