A Little Dance...

Another bathtime soak for Remy. This time was with Epsom salt, which he likes the best. He actually tried to jump in the tub and had no problem chilling in there for over 20 minutes. We are going to keep soaking him to see if we can heal his skin!

This is Lucy after her first big dance! She came home exhausted. A local school hosted a couple of the schools for a junior high masquerade ball. She LOVED it. She was very excited to go. We even meet up with some of her friends and the sound level in our car was crazy!

A quick dinner for her...she only wanted one thing... Taco Bell

Heidi made her high school account again...

And I received this awesome picture from Dad and Val who ran into each other at a Creighton game!

This was the week for straightening Lucy's hair. She also had her wax museum event at school where they all pose in the gym as the tell their story from the book. She was adorable.

On a not great note, Lucy woke up Saturday with a high fever and seems like she caught the flu that is going around. Then I came down with it Sunday. Let's hope Chris and Heidi manage to not get it!

Bath Time

Nothing too much to report! We still have a ton of snow. It is very cold here - Heidi only had school 1 day last week and Lucy 2 because of the weather. The only pictures I took were of poor Remy doing his soak because his skin is out of control. He is a good sport and doesn't try to escape. It must feel good on his itchy skin. We are starting a new medication, so I hope we see some results in a month!

This week is normal and Lucy has a dance on Friday! Let's hope for no more snow.

Volleyball

First off - Happy 4th Birthday Rizzo! Sorry it is all snowy and super cold out! It is so cold out - they called off school for the next 2 days!

We had our first volleyball tournament for Heidi! They started off a little rough, but quickly got it together and we saw some fantastic volleyball. Absolutely fantastic. This team is talented and I'm looking forward to watching them play!

Her coaches are so fun and cute. Noah was a great boyfriend and joined us on day 2 of the tournament, which was fun. We took Heidi's car to the tournament as parking was downtown and we didn't want any door dings. :) It was very entertaining listening to these three fight in the back.

You would think after all these years - we would get better at photos - but the games were too much fun to watch to take photos. Heidi had too many serving aces to count and even had a back row kill - which we will always take when you are a defensive specialist. Very fun to watch.

Heidi will not pose for photos - so you have to get what you can and yes we know her name is misspelled on the back of her warm-up jersey - the coaches made the mistake, but its ok.

Lucy is always in charge of the team mascot.

In other news - we keep getting snow and Chris has to carve a path in the yard for the boys... he is very mature.

Also - because of bad weather - we carted Heidi around for a bit because it was hard to drive in it.

Random snagged Instagram posts featuring Heidi...

We don't have another tournament until the 14th of February, which is great it doesn't dominate our schedule as much as it used to.  Right now, we are focused on keeping warm!
