Dirty

We did not have time this weekend to take any proper pictures because we did yard work.  We re-mulched our yard - cut and cleaned up the landscaping - tore down the charlie brown dead tree and basically worked our butts off all weekend. It was dirty and messy and I have taken 8 showers in the last 48 hours. 8.

So I thought it was appropriate to take two seconds after the girls' bath and snap some clean pictures.

We are exhausted - oddly sore and I have a nice rash all over my body from who knows what I'm allergic to. BUT we are DONE! and the yard looks nice :) I'm glad we did it this weekend instead of the original plan for Memorial weekend. Now we can just focus on smoking some meat and drinking some beer next weekend.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! Chris let me sleep until 9am - he went grocery shopping for me and the girls painted me some pictures. So far so good. The only downer is Lucy has a minor cold coming on with a slight fever. She was outside a lot yesterday and it I can't help wonder if it is allergy related - oh well! It wouldn't be Mother's Day with some kind of drama!

Speaking of being an awesome mom - found Lucy walking around - crusty - carrying a diaper and booze. Mom of the year right here!

Heidi was lucky enough to go to two birthday parties yesterday. She had a blast at each one! I was pooped!
