Poor Sick Heidi

Heidi is super sick today - woke up at 1:00am with a 104.7 temp and with meds we have been able to only get it to 103 to 103.7 - she DOES NOT feel good. At one point - she laid down in the hallway. Chris doesn't feel well either - so I'm on double duty taking care of the sick ones...

I hope their fevers break soon!

Huskers - The Zoo and BUBBLES!

Husker time again! We love football - the game - the parties - the cheese dip... Heidi of course is all Huskered out. I tried to take pictures of her outside - but it was impossible - as you can tell by the blurry ones... she had fun just the same! :)

Messy face from Grandma's cookies - mind you - after her nap she threw a 40 minute tantrum for a cookie - but no worries - we caught the last 10 minutes on video - all ready for her wedding one day... :)

Do you like how Heidi sits? I don't know where she got the idea to swing her leg over - she does it in the car too...

The Kearney Pikes organized a family zoo day which was a ton of fun. Here are some random pictures from the day...
Heidi was a little unsure about the wagon - Chris "may have" dumped her in it as we were walking into the zoo - it later took one of the other kids, Sophia, jumping in the wagon with her to make sure its okay.

Lunch time!

The group included - Napoli, Gonzo, Clements, Saathoff, Estes, Lyons and the O'Shays...

Water break...Isn't this cute?

And the day ended with Heidi picking to ride the creepy rabbit... nice.

Brewski saying hi - check out how nice his under bite looks...

I was given a bubbles recipe by Bev and Dad - made it a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work too well - looked like dish soap... so I asked them again for the recipe... I was originally told to add a 1/2 cup of water - the recipe was read again (I believe wearing some glasses this time) and it was actually 12 cups of water - bit of a difference!!! So lesson learned - ask your parents to put on their glasses first before reading... :) Heidi LOVES bubbles! She can't get enough of them!

Taco saying hi...furry - very furry...

Heidi tries sooo hard to blow bubbles...its hilarious!

So excited for the bubbles!
Awww summer is over...
