Spring Concert

 

We finally had lovely weather - our new table and chairs is fully built and put to good use!

Lucy had her spring concert, which was great as always. This is the LAST music concert we will have to do! Very exciting! 

Oh and with good weather brought some teenage pranks... Our camera caught them, but this one they get for free...plus it was easy to clean up. The Belciks weren't too happy about their car, but just some silly fun for now...

It is also 18 years with this sexy beast... Happy wedding anniversary. 

Lucy has now pivoted towards volleyball - Heidi has agreed to help train her. We will see how it goes.

We also went for a quick trip to Pittsburgh...more details to come, but Chris bought his car!

Very random - but Heidi needed a costume for volleyball - she jokingly was able to squeeze into this gem!

The new table... already used often!

We are finishing buying the car this week, planning a quick summer vacation, and doing our typical week activities! 

The Weekend

Nothing too much to report - we took advantage of a free weekend and got some projects done! Chris has started to build our new table and chairs. I'm excited for the option to work outside and the chairs are really comfortable. 

Heidi has been driving more and more and is becoming very confident with it. She literally drove everywhere on Saturday and on Sunday even drove all the way downtown. She is ready to have her license for sure.

Random school project for Lucy!

Sunday we took advantage of a sale and decided to mulch! It was cold, but we got it done after a few hours. Glad that is over. Next up is finish taking out the old basketball pole - we need a jack hammer to do it!

Even the dogs got cold...

 This weekend is still not super busy, which we love, but bring on Spring!

The Eclipse!

Around Cleveland - we have been hearing non-stop about this eclipse and being in totality. We have all seen some kind of eclipse and was just thinking it would be like one of those times - it actually turned out to be very cool. We lucked out on a seriously perfect day, no clouds, and great weather! Our neighbors had us over for the afternoon and it was seriously PERFECT. They grilled burgers, made nachos, and had all sorts of sun/moon/star themed treats.

My pictures can't do the eclipse any justice but the temp dropped significantly, it got dark like night, bugs became active, their dog hid, and we could see at least 2 planets! I don't know if I would travel for an eclipse in the future, but so happy we took part in the whole afternoon for it! 

The gas station pic is from Heidi's boyfriend. The teenagers were definitely the best at getting a decent picture!

We knew it was a fun event when the kids actually wanted to hang out and watch it.

And then back to reality with my extremely sexy husband... 

Fun dinner out...

I couldn't take any pictures during but we enjoyed Nicholas being Aladdin in St Jude's play! It was very cute and fun to watch! 

Our local ice cream place is open already and they have dole whip!

Sunday I went shopping with the girls...

And we had GREAT weather - so we took a walk but it was too long for Mr. Remy.
