Disney World - June 2021 - EPCOT

This is the last blog! There are 6 about Disney! If you want to see all the pictures, you can navigate to the blogs using the right hand menu on the blog. I mainly do this for record keeping!

Anyways - like always - we start our trip at EPCOT and we end at EPCOT. This is how we do it. We like the slower pace of EPCOT, plus, our hotel was 100 yards away. You walked out of our villa, down a path and up over a bridge to the back entrance of EPCOT. Beyond perfect. At first I was disappointed that EPCOT didn't open until 11am, but the delayed mornings were key, plus, they really open at 10/10:15, so if you want to ride a popular ride, you need to be there by then! Waking up at 8:30 is better than 6am!

Random pictures...

Heidi swore she smiled for the picture on Space Ship Earth, but I think it caught the true teenager...hehe

More coffee for Heidi!

We ate at the Italian pizza place and it was amazing. They had REALLY good brick oven pizza and amazing salads.

EPCOT is under construction, but at least they try to decorate the walls!

It was Flower and Garden festival, which meant, beautiful and fun displays, scavenger hunts and special food!

They also have a princess parade that comes through!

We wanted to do something different and decided to to the agave tequila experience. The girls got to sit and enjoy chips with gauc and we had an expert take us through the different tequilas and pairings etc. I didn't know what it expect but it was SO much fun. It really was. I would do it again.

Anna and Lucy had a lovely conversation on how she dressed like her in the same clothes for Halloween. Ha.

Of course one of the 5 days we spent there (and we went many nights too), we had to do drinking around the world!

Chris got more compliments and giggles on his shirt!

Spike scavenger hunt!

We also celebrated Heidi's birthday while there and enjoyed a delicious meal at the Japanese steakhouse. I knew the food was going to be good but I was blown away on how good it was. It was in the top 3 places I ate! (Boathouse, California Grill and Teppan Edo (Japanese Steakhouse)) Homecoming was a close 4th!

Different this year was they opened up their convention center and hosted some drinks and snack in there. We took full advantage of the AC and seats!

Lucy loves her Mickey pretzels! I lost count of how many she had!

So...EPCOT is putting together a new show and have moved these HUGE pieces into the main lake - we nicknamed them - Stargate - Taco ship... I don't love it. I can't look across the lake and see the different countries... this show better be good to justify those things!

Getting more drinks!

A quick visit to the butterflies!

More pictures from the tequila experience and yes - those are CRICKETS!

We just had a blast at Disney! It was a very long trip and I don't think Chris will want to do that long again. I was ready to keep going - hehe. It might be awhile before we go back, we will see!
