Halloween

It was a good weekend to get the Halloween costumes all good! We had a neighborhood party and the girls were excited to dress up!

Miss Lucy is Miss Piggy! She was LOVING this... She said she is fancy!

Heidi is a VSCO girl - which I joked is basically her... let's put it this way, we didn't have to buy anything. I just made the shirt. A VSCO girl is a girl basically from the 90s - she loves Vans, Air Pods, Saving the Turtles, No plastic straws, leggings and scrunchies. They do a lot of Tik Tok and use an app called VSCO to edit photos of themselves. yep.

 Instead of carving, the girls decided to do painting of the pumpkins!

 I outlined Forky from Toy Story 4 to have Chris carve it, but Lucy decided to paint it. I love it.

 We are ready for Halloween!!!

Catching Up!

To say life is busy right now, is an understatement. I traveled for a girl's weekend to run around with Val, work is completely insane and we are heavy into volleyball tournaments and cheer!

First - girl's weekend was a blast. We went to Chicago, stayed at a new hotel and did some new activities. It was so much fun.

Chicago does their beer fest slightly different! It was AWESOME!

 Our favorite restaurant - Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder!

We will continue our yearly trip and I look forward to it every year!

Remy is doing well... he is a needy little puppy who wants to be around me ALL THE TIME! If I'm working, he will try to be in my lap at every second!

We completely enjoy Heidi playing volleyball. The season is coming to an end but I think we have a new sport!

The first sickness has hit and Lucy missed a couple days of school.

More volleyball this week, cheer competition practice and preparing for Halloween!

The Weekend

Random pictures... Lucy had to dress like a cowboy for school. I think she nailed it. So cute!

As much as Remy is starting to fall in line and is in general well behaved... he at least does something that is completely crazy. Like decide he wants to try to run laps under the covers and completely mess up our day.

Second to last Jr Jags cheer game. It was a hot one... only 70 degrees but the sun was brutal! The little girls did great but the older girls aka Heidi - said they were melting - ha!

Our neighbors had a birthday party - complete with air brush tattoos... It was fun. I couldn't convince Chris to get a face tattoo, but Lucy was rocking several!

Came down Sunday morning to Chris and Lucy enjoying Muppet Babies on TV... I don't know who was enjoying it more.
