One Cheer Comp in the Books!

One cheer competition in the books! The girl did great and we ended up 2nd place out of 6 teams! Not bad in the 6th grade division considering we have no 6th graders! We also received the points and we missed 1st by just 6 points! We made some minor mistakes on the dance portion but still SO proud of the girls! They did awesome. We have another competition this weekend and I know the girls are hungry for more!

In prep for the big day - I always give the girls a little goodie bag - which is fun!

We have also have found to just relax the night before!

Busy

These weeks are flying by! As Chris would complain about, we have lots of cheer going on... We have a competition this week and next and then we are done...but yes...lots of cheer...

The girls got done organizing the toys and we actually de-cluttered our main floor AND I would like to report, it is still picked up now, which might be a record for Lucy. Lucy has the ability to destroy something in 30 seconds. She has actually not only kept things picked up, but also in the right bins!

Heidi had a very social weekend. Three birthday parties including some firsts for her - ice skating and a ropes/gravity course!

On top of getting the toys all sorted and put away - we folded all laundry - yes...all...even matched socks. For those of you know us - that might be a world record. Everyone pitched in and we got it done AND we have even put away recent laundry. Amazing!

It was time for the girls to have i Pads. They have had an increase of needing to do special reading apps and things for school and Lucy needs help with reading and sights words - so they each have one now.  They are pretty excited!

 Lucy cracks me up...

Birthday parties continued...

A concerned sister watching the ropes course...

On Disney news - we booked our Fastpasses for our next trip! Super excited! The count down is getting smaller!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

First we finally had a free night to hang out with some neighbors. It was fun to catch up... Chris and Jason were in goofy moods... Heidi's face says it all...

But at least they included other people in the dance party :)

So Chris makes a statement - we can't get a puppy when we have toys everywhere - the dog will chew on something and get sick or worse...

This leads to the girls wanting to "Spring Clean" the morning room and reorganize the toys... For the record - they have made progress but right now - its a disaster! And there is no puppy any time soon...

This morning the girls opened their cards from family and our little presents. They are always so happy to receive cards and things from the family. It means a lot!

I found these surprise animals that are in a burrito... they are awesome. The burrito is fake...
