Volleyball - Random - and High School????

The girls requested a couple more volleyball practices last week. I don't think they were ready to walk away from their 8th grade VB year quite yet. I had fun coaching them and they are a great group of girls!

Chris and I actually had a beverage while waiting for food... it felt weird...

And High School.... we went to an open house for Holy Name and Heidi loved it. This is the one she has been consistently saying she wants to attend. I don't think any of her friends are attending there, but she seems fine with that. Heidi says she feels at home there and is comfortable - which says a lot!

We did buy her one Holy Name zip-up as the 8th graders soon can wear their high school gear to school!

 This week we have some dentist appointments, volleyball tryouts and Halloween!

Patio and End of CYO Volleyball

I got scolded by Mr. Chris for forgetting to post pics of the patio stairs and walls... Phase 1 is complete of the patio!

We decided to do something a little fun and get used whiskey barrels to use as side tables etc for our patio. They look great and it will be nice to have many places to put things. 

We wrapped up fall cheer. We had team photos and then a little party. Next up is winter/basketball cheer! We don't start that for a few weeks to give us a break :)

Heidi got cast #3 and this "should" be her last one! We get it off Nov. 3rd and hope she can get back to normal soon after that!

We had volleyball playoffs this weekend and the end of 8th grade CYO volleyball. We won Saturday but lost Sunday. They were close games but we weren't quite 100% to take it for the win. The girls had fun just the same!

 A little bit of a slower week but still lots of volleyball for prepping for JO tryouts! 

Cheer and Stuff

Another tooth bites the dust! Lucy's teeth are a hot mess, but she is losing them. It will be interesting as they all come and see how straight or not they are! Her baby teeth were so straight - I hope they work it out!

Heidi went to a birthday party that seemed like so much fun! They went to Olive Garden and then did a fun splatter paint activity. She had a blast!

We also got to adopt Lucy B for Saturday!

We finally got our little cheer uniforms and I think they look so cute! It was our last fall cheer game and now we roll into basketball cheer!

Rizzo... same size - forever puppy...

Heidi had a check up for her brace and though 99% of her teeth are almost perfect - she has one tooth that won't come down. The dentist decided to laser her gums around the missing tooth to see if it will come down on its own. We go back in three weeks to see. If not, we will see if we need just partial braces to get it to come down. We have had such success with this brace, I would hate to have to still get some braces after all that. We will see!

This week is a lot of wrapping up of fall sports and lots of work! It doesn't seem like fall as it is literally 80 degrees out right now - but you never know, we could have snow by Halloween!
