New Car Alert!

We have been busy in the Gonzales household. We sold my car privately last week and finalized on our new car! We are super excited for the new one!

Heidi and Lucy are enjoying the summer...

We are SO close to losing a front tooth! If only I could convince her to do the string to door handle trick!

Our new car! Its going to make those long trips back to Nebraska so comfy. Plus it has almost freaky driver assistance - like stops you if there is an object, brings you back to your lane if you coast into the other, adjust cruise controls by itself based on how close you want to get to the car in front of you etc. Its amazing. And I finally got my white car again :)

 We have visitors coming this Friday! Getting excited!

Quick Hello

We had a busy weekend...

Sold my car privately - which is awesome.

Went car shopping - some experiences were better than others - but we know what we are getting! Stay tuned this week!!!

It was SUPER hot this weekend - so the girls got to play outside in the water a bit.

I tried to take some nice pictures of them...well...not so much.

A Visit from Omaha

We just had a wonderful week spent with Grandpa Darrell and Grandma Babs! First before they arrived - we spent the weekend...ahem...cleaning and Chris smoked a wonderful brisket.

The girls were excited for their arrival and checking out all the presents they brought.

Heidi and Lucy have such a great time hanging out with grandma and grandpa. They have patience and just play with them.

 The week went by fast and before we knew it, it was the last day! So we manage to all load into their car and have a fun filled day of the zoo, ice cream and bowling.

 This was grandma's favorite part...the um penguins. just like the Omaha zoo...well maybe not :)

The week flew by and we all really loved their visit! Thank you for traveling all the way here and let us spend time together!
