Birthday Boy & VAL!

Big week and weekend! Big Boy turned the big 4-0! I decorated the driveway in the AM and we were lucky it didn't rain for two days!

Also I found some old pictures in my computer files that I shared on social media. I think the vote came back that we all love the soccer picture.

Our neighbor gave Chris a 40 for his 40th birthday... classy :)

AND THEN - Val came in town! She has a convention here in Cleveland and made a long weekend out of it! We both had to work a little Friday afternoon and it was funny to sit across from each other...

We also went to an Indians game! It was rainy for a bit but it ended up being a very nice night! It was a lot of fun for sure.

The weather wasn't cooperating as much as I would have liked this weekend. Lots and lots of rain! But we did get to ride in the jeep a tiny bit before the next rain shower.

We ran some errands on Saturday and Val managed to get the kid boat of a cart stuck. It was awesome.

Entertaining ourselves Saturday afternoon...

Here are pictures that Val took... Lucy immediately was all over Val when she arrived. She tried on all her jewelry and was just excited to see her.

We stopped at our neighborhood bar for one drink on the way home from the baseball game and a ton of people from our neighborhood were there - it was fun!

In tradition - celebrating at Fiesta Jalapeno... so good!

Val is here for a couple more days - we all have to work but hopefully we get to hang out a little!

Heidi's Birthday Party & Father's Day

It was time to have Heidi's little birthday party. She chose to have a small party, eat pizza, make slime, get their nails done and have a slumber party. I do have to say, I can tell Heidi is maturing and its easier to have parties now... I can just sit back and let them entertain themselves!

I still cannot believe the kids like making slime this much. They are obsessed with it!

Yes - I managed to get all the girls in my car to go get their nails done. Luckily, Izzy is about my height and can ride in the front seat! It was a loud car ride for sure!

The hardest part was telling the girls to sit there while their nails dried!

We took all the mattresses from the girls bed and made a sea of beds! It worked out nicely! It was presents and movie time!

Chris was a little overwhelmed with the amount of girls...

 We survived!

Heidi got to spend her generous gift card from Grandma and Grandpa Gonzales on books. She is really getting into reading. She took her time reading the backs and picked out a good group of books!

Sunday was Father's Day and all Chris wanted to do was go see the Incredibles 2. It was SOOOO good. Like Lucy was literally clapping during it. I highly recommend the movie!

It was a great weekend! This week is important...Chris' birthday is on Thursday!!!
