Dinosaurs - Memorial Day - Lucy's Heart

Get ready for a whole lot of Heidi pictures...but first - I was finally able to grab enough of Lucy's hair to get a bow in there... I love it and she actually left it in there...

Since it was Memorial Day Weekend - we wanted to get out and do one thing. The cold weather prevented us from the pool - so the zoo it was... it turns out we had the same idea as all of Cleveland - but we enjoyed it just the same.

Heidi was very photogenic this weekend and since we weren't able to make one of her special animal sticker books (printer out of ink) - I said i would take pictures of whatever she wanted... so please enjoy the zoo as directed by Heidi:

I tried to sneak some pictures in of Lucy but she was too busy people watching to bother with me...

What happens when you forget your sunglasses? You get to wear free GE glasses...

The Cleveland Zoo has a dinosaur exhibit during the summer (I think the Omaha zoo has something very similar right now) Don't worry - Heidi made me take a picture at every stop!

Not too sure about this one...

It sprays water!

Look I got her to look at the camera...while she eating...

Love this one -posed by Heidi.

 Heidi got a new dinosaur...

Yeah we know what it looks like.. Chris is mortified.

On to the North Ridgeville Memorial Day Parade! It was a nice small town parade. Had plenty of candy - loud fire trucks and random people in Iron man costumes to please the kids. It was a tad chilly - though!

 Heidi's sisters and brother - I mean - neighbors! :)

We had a good Memorial Day Weekend - had some beer - had some smores - we have cabinet doors back up in our kitchen and our house is slightly cleaner than it was Friday. So it was good! I'm ready for summer to begin - no more cold weather!

An update on Lucy - she had her 9 month cardiology appointment today and she is doing great! Good pulses - good everything. We have to go back in 4 months and if that looks good - we won't have to go for a year! I can tell Lucy is growing - she weighed in at 16 pounds!!! She has somehow gain like 2 pounds in a short time. She has been sleeping a lot but I think between having a growth spurt and crawling around so much - she wears herself out!!! She was happy and playing with the doctors and didn't even whine once through any of it! She will go to the doctor in a couple of weeks with Heidi for her main check up - it will be interesting to see how much she grows then too!
