Go BIG Red!

BIG Milestone... Lucy lost her first tooth! She was SO excited!!! Heidi gave the assist and help rip it out. Lucy didn't even flinch!

We had picture day at school! Lucy opted for a nice side pony with her hot pink dress...I can't wait to see how they turned out!

Off to the Husker game we went! We try to get to at least one game each football season and this time we chose Illinois. It was about a 6.5 hour drive because of construction, but it was worth it. The girls had a blast and so did we!

It wouldn't be a weekend without some sports!

It was time for the hairy monster to get a haircut!

Apples

It was another dual sport weekend for us! Junior Jags was fun and cute of course and we have been blessed with amazing weather! Let's keep that going!

Heidi had another volleyball game. They fought hard, but did end up losing to the other team. at least it was a close one!

We figured out that Sunday would be our only day in the next two months we could go to the apple orchard - so off we went! It was a great overcast day and we had fun!

And...our apple orchard now sells cocktails and brew their own beer - WHAT?!?!?! I tried a wonderful salted caramel vodka and apple cider drink and Chris tried a great fall old fashion. Maybe we will have to go apple picking as a date night - they were delicious!

We also successfully completed the maze!!! It was touch and go there for awhile, and we got to the end and had to go back to find more clues. But we did it! When you finish their little pamphlet, you get a free donut... we all got our free donuts!

Remy is back to 100%. He got his stitches out on Saturday and we could FINALLY bathe him again. He has his first haircut scheduled in a week! Now that potty training is done - its now time to start enforcing more manners for this wild pup! He just wants to kiss everyone and anything! Training is back in session!

Poor Remy & Cheer!

The little guy had the big snip this week. He was cranky the first day, cuddly the second day and bat-shit crazy the 3rd day. I think it was the meds... like try to jump to the decorations on the wall and not calm at all. I stayed home with him all week to help him recover!

We had our first Jr Jags cheer session. Heidi volunteered with some other 6th graders to help wrangle the 20 little girls K-2nd grade. Everyone did great and it was really cute!

 I'm loving our new uniforms!

And if a morning of cheer wasn't enough, we had another volleyball game. Heidi is doing SO well at it. She is a natural. She is playing really well and help score a ton of points for her team. Its hard to describe how focused and driven she is in the games. She has this calm determination that is crazy!

And lastly...Mr Remy wasn't doing a good job of not licking and chewing on his stitches. He had to wear the cone of shame and he WAS NOT happy...
