Divide and Conquer

When we have lots of things going on on a weekend - we divide and conquer... Heidi had volleyball in Columbus Ohio and Lucy had dance and didn't want to go to volleyball... so Chris stayed home with her and the dogs and Heidi and I traveled.

Volleyball equals really early mornings and long days. The team did well with a little disappointment at the end but overall ended up 5th out of 27 teams. Heidi played well. Some other parents even commented on how well Heidi was doing. She is enjoying it for sure! We get a couple of weekends off before traveling again for volleyball.

Heidi won't pose for any pictures and when they play, the games are too intense to take pictures, so you get a lot of random shots of her.

Rizzo is such a good sport... he literally will let Heidi do anything...

While Heidi and I were away, Lucy and Chris went to this Disney immersion experience. I believe it was a large room with tons of projectors and music. They had a really fun time until it got just too busy. It was still a good event to attend!

Chris was able to take a couple of pictures of Lucy dancing and it is awesome.

Chris was able to watch some of the volleyball from the Facebook live stream. Not as good as being there, but it is better than nothing!

I guess the dogs were SUPER stressed that Heidi and I weren't home. No one slept well and they were both very clingy.

It was a good weekend, but we are tired! Looking forward to a less busy week and weekend for sure!

Happy Birthday Rizzo & SNOW!

Rizzo turned 2! He is still tiny and still very much spunky, but he might be slowing down a little bit! We celebrated by giving the dogs little ice cream cups and they were in heaven.

I would say we finally had our first snow. This was the good snow ball snow - super wet and not super cold out. Heidi was bored and played in the snow for over an hour!

She decided it was good to practice her volleyball dives in the snow...

And throw snowballs at Chris.

We had the Belciks and Davis' over for an impromptu gathering that was a ton of fun! For some reason, we always give Jim stuff when he comes over and we had an extra pair of house shoes for him. Now they can be twinsies!

Chris is still figuring out his work set up. This was... yes THIS... was his solution... Interesting to say the least.

And many pictures of the birthday boy!

This week is busy - Heidi is back to playing volleyball, and we have a tournament in Columbus that we will be heading to on Friday. Lucy has dance and acting too. It should be a fun week!
