It is finally time for Lucy's Washington DC trip with her class. She is beyond excited. We dropped her off at 6am this morning and there was a LOT of energy from the class. Good or bad (not decided) - Lucy's class is small enough for everyone to sit on one bus but it was PACKED. We can't wait to hear all about it when she returns later this week.
We also wrapped up her CYO volleyball - we had a fun practice with games and some prizes. Glad the season is over and open gyms already start for her club volleyball this week. Crazy!
Heidi had fall break and came home -mainly to recover. She is battling a cold, which after talking with several other parents - seems to be a common case. Urgent care ruled out anything too bad and it seems to be just a common cold that needs to run its path. Heidi has been resting and Rizzo doesn't stray too far from her side. He loves that she is here.
I think she needed lots of rest :) She heads back Tuesday evening and then we won't see her to parent's weekend. She also said she hasn't watched any movies since going to college - so we have been watching lot and lots of movies this weekend.
Chris is also traveling this week - so it is a weird week of people coming and going for sure!
