Disney World - June 2021 - Travel - Resort - Misc Pictures

With these picture downloads, I'm never quite sure how they will upload and in what order... I figured I would share them as they come!

This is how the trip ended... Both girls out on the plane! They were so tired, they didn't even notice that daddy had to move to a different row because of a medical emergency. It wasn't until we landed that Lucy goes - Where is daddy? Ha. The lady was okay. I believe had a seizure...

This was relaxing for the last hour before our bus to the airport... I heard him snoring...

Our last big meal at Homecoming brunch - amazing!!

Lucy dancing in the rain...

We tried a new restaurant and I'm mad we haven't eaten there before. It was in my top 3 for the trip and we ate at A LOT of different places! The Boathouse in Disney Springs was SO good. I will eat there again in a heartbeat! Plus they had fun drinks...

Breakfast at our second resort. We stayed one night at Disney's Swan when we first arrived. We got to use Marriott points and only have to pay taxes/fees of $35. It was WAY cheaper to fly in late on Thursday and stay the night then fly in on Friday... Then we moved to Beach Club for 11 nights, then finished out the rest at Pop Century where we added a room and actually had two conjoining rooms which was amazing. We each had our own beds and two bathrooms! The resort of Beach Club, restaurants, pool, location etc - can't be beat, but there was something magical in having two bathrooms and our own beds!

So... we were going to try something new and eat off site... we decided on Buffalo Wild Wings as it was close and usually can take a crowd... um... no... We waited for 30 minutes with no end in site, we all started to melt down - a short walk across the street is how we ended up at Taco Bell...  It wasn't ideal, but honestly, a great memory and inside joke now.

Always raining in the afternoon and evenings...

Chris' birthday dinner at Wine Bar George.. the food 9/10.. the service, food choices and atmosphere - 3/10... They gave us a tiny table, slow service, bad drinks... it was the biggest disappointment of our trip - even over Taco Bell! The steak we shared was great but NOT worth the money. Honestly one of our favorite items was their hummus, but then again, expensive hummus!

Lucy always dancing... It is easy to do at Disney Springs since there is music or bands everywhere!

I forgot to take a picture of the cookies! You can google Gideons https://gideonsbakehouse.com/

There is a lot of "hype" around these cookies and guess what - they exceeded my expectations. I have never had a cookie like these. SO good. We also got lucky as usually there is a 3 to 4 hours wait to even buy them, but we came right after a storm and lots of people left - we got in in less than 20 minutes!

I promised Chris and the girls we would have resort/pool days. For two of them we rented their cabana and it was AWESOME! We had a dedicated server, tv, snacks, pop, water etc. We were right by the sand area, so Lucy would go play while I hung out in the shade!

Skyliner! All of our hotels were on the skyliner. It did shut down a lot because of weather, but when working, it was fast and easy!

Waiting for the boat and goofing around!

More cabana time...

Waiting out the rain at the pool bar...

We had breakfast at our resort several times and it was good!

Playing with the Droids the girls built. They are really cool.

We had a fantastic dinner at California Grill. Great food, service, wine etc. Plus we got to see them testing the Electrical parade again! The views were the best part.

Lots of rain means lots of rainbows!

The stroller... yes, we rented a stroller. Mainly for holding our drinks and bag and it was perfect! Heidi would sneak in for a rest. It as just nice to be able to ditch everything and park it somewhere and no be the people with a bunch of bags on a ride!

The buses started off with no standing and these divided sections. By the end, it was fair game for stuffing the bus! At least masks were still required!

Eating at Beaches and Cream at our resort - great food!

Our view from our balcony. There were other pools at our resort and we would go to them in the evening. The big main pool we saved for more full days since it was so busy.

Chris surprised us with a package of a new bag, treats etc. It was really sweet! The background is the main living area of our villa. I of course failed to take more pictures of the room. It had a nice entry, a master bedroom, bath and sink are, shower and another sink are and toilet closet. Plus it had a washer and dryer which is really a need for us!

First drinks of vacation! We made them count! The first day we did a pool day but couldn't get the cabanas. It actually worked out that we were able to snag a table, in the shade and it was perfect!

Someone was happy to be on vacation!

Plane ride there!!! Luckily THIS plane ride was on time and good! We actually got in 15 minutes early!

I swear we always eat Chick-fil-A at airports and pretzels.

Now these are Chris' pictures...

You are never too old to play in a splash pad...

Heidi was on a mission to get the best coffee in Disney!
