Heidi's Award

We are very proud of Heidi this week! She won the self control award for her school. Basically, it translates to she knows when to focus on school and when to socialize. She got honored at Friday Mass and we were so excited to see her get it!

Saturday, Heidi had a birthday party that she was basically gone all day, so it was just Chris, Lucy and I. We had some fun just the same!

It was a good weekend!

Hockey & New Bed!

We decided to heads to a hockey game this weekend and had a ton of fun. It was kid's day and they had some activities to help the game be even more fun. The girls got to make signs and when I asked Lucy what she wanted to write - she said Go Minnie. She also wanted a Minnie on her face instead of anything to do with the hockey game. Plus during the game - she kept shouting - Go Minnie! She had fun just the same. :)

After the hockey game - we had a big important task to do! Build Lucy's big girl PURPLE bed! Heidi was the best helper and really helped dad put it together!

Since it is a day bed - both girls was able to sleep in Lucy's room last night and both slept well! Lucy could not be more excited for her bed! She loves her purple and Minnie master piece!

Snow - New Bed - Hanging Out

We have purchased a big girl bed for Lucy! It arrives next week - but we went ahead and bought new bedding for her. It will be a pink ans purple Minnie masterpiece!

Heidi, Chris and I were all lucky enough to not have to work or go to school on Monday. Heidi had a day filled with playing with friends, Chick-fil-A and a movie!

Snow has finally arrived - I had to capture the girls in their snow gear - so cute!

 Just a typical Saturday night...

 We are getting back in to our regular routine - ready for what 2016 will bring!

Visit #2!

I forgot to post pictures from our last visit from Grandpa and Nana! We had a wonderful visit with lots of fun. We went to the dinosaur museum and bowling and restaurants and shopping and had a really great time. I wish I would have taken more pictures but its ok. We were busy having fun! Thank you to Grandpa and Nana for traveling out and hanging out with us. I know Chris' favorite part was the laundry folding party...
