Disney!!! We had SO MUCH FUN! So many pictures. I'm just posting them - so not a lot of explanation going to come on them. Also - I have split the trip into four blogs - you might have to click on the older posts link at the bottom to see all of them.
The trip started off a little rough - our flight was at 6am and we arrived to the airport at 4:45am like good travelers - checked in our luggage and the counter person goes - oh - by the way - did you know this flight has been delayed until 11am? I'm like - um no... we didn't receive an email or text and if you looked online - everything said on time. So - some very disappointed family later - we decided to go get breakfast and relax at home for a bit. We could have easily slept in - oh well... Well - fast forward and I'm getting anxious - I am so afraid they are going to cancel it or something - so I force everyone to go to the airport by 9am - which I'm SO happy we did. Turns out - the plane didn't get fixed and they decided to use another plane to get us there. So we left before 11am. I wonder if anything missed the flight...but I wasn't going to argue that we are getting there a little early.
Once there - it was pretty smooth sailing. I have to admit - we were all tired - but being at Disney helped! We did Hollywood studios and had a blast. I can't wait until the new worlds open up! Then to Epcot for a lovely dinner!
Sunday we did our Drinking and Hello around the world. It was a really really fun day. The girls had a blast meeting everyone and we found if we asked random cast members in the countries - they were more than willing to teach the girls all sorts of things. I really loved this day.
One comment - you will notice that Lucy has a band-aid on her cheek - well the first night there - she rolled off the bed and hit her cheek on the side table. Pretty darn good bruise. She wanted a band-aid on it and we left it on. Her poor cheek is all bruised! But she wasn't too phased!
Also - yep - I have a scooter. The doc didn't want me to walk more then 5,000 steps - which doesn't take much in Disney. So I was that person at Disney - in a scooter...most times with a drink. People were actually really nice about it and those who asked what I did - had a great laugh at my story. I can say its the first time my feet don't hurt after Disney. But I didn't get to burn off the extra calories - oh well! A few more weeks and I'm completely healed!
Test Track summed for my family - Lucy loving it - Heidi crying. yep.
We had the best breakfast ever! It was a character meal on the Boardwalk and we met Ariel and Eric and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. The food was seriously my favorite thing I ate!
