We have had a historic amount of snow days already in 2018. Friday was their 5th one! I set up a desk in our bedroom to be able to work and allow the girls to run around the house...but little Lu likes to poke me with her feet for attention as I'm on meetings. Its always interesting working from home...when the kids are home...
We decided it was time to have a fun family night out. We found a great Hibachi restaurant and got tickets to Disney on Ice. The girls has no idea about Disney on Ice until we arrived to go through security!
I scored great seats that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I seriously think they had them miss-marked on their website! We were center - 5 rows up! Lucy was SO into the show - mouth open watching most of the time - or singing and dancing. Heidi loved it too. She really enjoyed trying to see behind the scenes and noticing that some of the same skaters played several parts. :)
Not necessarily New Year resolution, because those are typically crap - but we are trying to be better in 2018. The girls have enjoyed doing some videos with me. Its pretty cute to watch. Lucy insisted on wearing just a sports bra. Ha.
Monday the girls didn't have school and I didn't have work! I wanted to do something and decided to do the pottery paint place. It was really fun. Both girls enjoyed it and I can't wait to see the finished pieces in about a week!
Busy week this week! We have Lucy cheer camp, Heidi started her musical practice and all that normal work crap!
