Our Halloween was COLD, rainy and windy - but the kids were troopers. Remy didn't love his costume but he tolerated it and had fun walking around the neighborhood.
We had the spread this year! We only had about half the kids we normally do. We saw all the older kids, but the young ones must have not made it long. Heck, Lucy only lasted about 45 minutes.

Halloween in the Midwest.
It was cheer competition time! The girls did well and won the 6th grade championship! Heidi also did really great in the jump competition and ended up placing 4th. She missed 3rd by less than 2 points! There were some amazing jumpers she was against!
It's hard to see in this picture - but look at Chris in the front row. This is the moment Heidi and some fellow 6th graders went and greeted the 6th grade boys who came to watch! Yes - three of the boys ACTUALLY came to a cheer competition. I think we have some crushes going...
I mean, if you are going to wear a sparkly cheer dad shirt - might as well have fun with it.
