Two weeks under my belt for my new gig. It's a fun to be learning all about live streaming and creating content for social and the internet. A group decided to have a pizza eating contest on Friday for lunch... they didn't do well, but it was a fun event to watch. I'm enjoying being back with creative people for sure!
Another big perk is we have dogs that come to the office on a regular basis. This is Wally. I will try to get pics of the other office dogs when they come in.
Saturday was a big deal for Heidi. It was her first dance. They all decided to go casual and another school was hosting it. Heidi wanted her hair to be curly and fancy like Hollywood... Luckily she has good hair and it didn't take much. She was asked by a boy, but we decided they could just meet there. I didn't get any pictures, but I heard it was fun!
Remy didn't like her sleepover bag...
Heidi is modeling our new vanity that is being installed this week in our downstairs bathroom. New floors are going in too! Big week! Some painting will be done in a couple of weeks!
Since Heidi was away - Lucy snuck into her bed for the night.
Lucy had a birthday party at an indoor pool place. Lucy still isn't a strong swimmer, very scared of the water, but that didn't stop her from being a social butterfly on the edge!
We are excited for the new floors and I will take pictures once they are done!

Back in the Blog
So funny story... I started a new job which meant, new phone, new computer etc etc. I got locked out of my google account for a couple of weeks and was just able to recover it this weekend! I was very nervous I was to lose access to the blog etc. We are good! Here is a messy catch up from the last few weeks!
I started a new job and so far so good. I am in week two and have a lot to learn. I left GE after almost 7 years and as I appreciate my time spent there, I am very excited to be somewhere else. It has been a crazy time.
Let's see... our lives have been volleyball, cheer, sickness and new job.
Volleyball is in full swing. Chris and I have truly enjoyed watching Heidi play just improve every week. The coach has been rotating the girls a bit to try to find their best position. The first tournament, she was back row, defense player and the second tournament she was an outside hitter. We see how she progresses!
Lucy has been a good big sister. Plus, she takes these tournaments as a time to meet new people. She has made friends with a variety of parents and coaches. We will see when we are on our 10th tournament if she still loves to go, but so far so good.
The new view of kids these days... it was a long day after a tournament (13 hours) and we went to get a quick dinner... we let them be on electronics just because everyone was tired... I don't know if they talked much, but it was a peaceful dinner.
Lucy getting to know the coach.
Chris tried VR for the first time. I know he had fun doing it, but I think I liked watching him be a fool more!
Day two of the first tournament. I think the first day was 11 hours and the second was 13. Long days...
When the girls are in the tournament, they take turns helping the refs. I think sometimes Heidi likes being the net/sub/line judge better than playing. Ha
It was super hero day at school and Heidi was SO proud to wear her heart heros cape Remy just wanted to lick her, but that's nothing new.
I couldn't find Remy and he was asleep, wedged in the couch.
Heidi and Remy had a snow day
Tournament #2 - the team did great and ended up winning the Silver bracket. They are starting to groove more as a team!
Lucy making new friends of course...
At my new job, I caught the graphic designer editing my website picture. It was funny...
Lucy enjoying her Chiptole...
I'm not sure why, but lately my hair wants to be wavy. Some days I'm embracing it and others its annoying...
Sickness has hit our house. Heidi tested positive for Type B flu, even though we got flu shots etc. About half of her grade at school has had it. Heidi stayed home Friday, but still found enough energy to open Valentine's Day gifts. She is excited to go shopping once she feels better.

Sunday we had our first winter cheer competition. Of our small squad, we were down FOUR girls. We had to shuffle things the morning of and the girls were great. We actually came out with a win, which I was surprised! Heidi missed out, but I sent her updates along the way. Very proud of the squad!
Additional random picture... at least at the volleyball games, Nicholas is there and they have a fun time running around and entertaining each other.
I think we are all caught up. This week is more volleyball, cheer and Heidi finally getting over the flu. Plus this weekend is Heidi's first DANCE! Looks like a fun week ahead.
