Dog Pictures

 

We had a wonderful party this weekend for Memorial Day, but I did not take any pictures besides meat. Also, for some reason, I have a lot of dog pictures on my phone as well!

It was a fun party for sure. We had about 70 people come to our house. The kids were running around having fun, the adults were all hanging out and no chairs were broken this year!

Here is Chris and the dogs recovering from the fun day on Sunday. 

Rizzo was overwhelmed at the party and was very tired the next day. I think there were too many people wanting to hold him and he just was a little nervous. He did finally calm down as the night went on, but it was crazy for a moment!

Meat. Chris made sausage, pork butt, and ribs!

Earlier in the week, Southwest had their final picnic and the team got together one last time for their sweatshirts and awards. Heidi truly enjoyed playing for Southwest. We don't find out until mid-June if she is invited back, but she is really hoping she is!

Now we are prepping for seeing everyone in Omaha and ending the last week of school! Summer is almost here!

Lucy Dance Recital

Lucy had her dance recital! It was so much fun watching her on stage. I tried to post the video. but it is too large for blogger :( 

For never taking dance, I think Lucy was truly amazing. She was right in line with her teammates. Of course, now she is hooked and wants to keep dancing - but not like dance company or competition - more not serious classes like what she took this year. 

I think Lucy enjoyed the makeup!

That hair was NOT going to move! It was so set in place, it was shiny!

Lucy loves to perform. We are happy she enjoyed it so much! This was the last of the big events and now we can focus on the end of the school year and summer!
 

Happy Mother's Day & LAST Volleyball Tournament

 

It was a beautiful weekend! We actually were able to take a walk and brought the dogs with us. We are also watching Cooper from across the street and all three walked quite nicely!

Happy 15th Kendall!!!! 

This weekend was the LAST volleyball tournament for Heidi's JO club team. They played well and ended up 3rd. She was happy to get another medal :)

We are now focused on high school and tryouts - it is never ending :)

All Heidi wanted after playing all day was nachos. :)

It was Lucy's unbirthday at school since she is a summer birthday. You can't bring in any baked goods, so candy it was!

On Mother's Day, Lucy and I hung out while Chris and Heidi went to the art museum to complete a final project she needed for school. 

Just a couple more weeks of school - then Summer!
