We have a SMILE!

Somebody got their braces off!!! It is so lovely to have her smile back :)

In other news - we finally got her wrist checked out and Heidi has a TFCC tear that isolating it and NOT playing for a few weeks "should" solve it.

This week is Halloween, some doctor appointments and then we are off to DISNEY!
 

Girl's Weekend

It was a whirlwind weekend! I popped over to Omaha to help my mom for a little bit and for my girl's weekend trip. We normally go to Chicago, but the events and dates were just not matching up. Instead, we went to Lincoln and had a blast!

Chris stayed home with the girls and prepared for his new job! He said the dogs were super needy while I was away.

Heidi melting down because she didn't have her phone and the dogs were getting groomed... this is a bored teenager...

We bought a car! After much hunting, we found exactly what we were looking for - a gentle used Subaru Legacy that Chris can drive now and then it will be Heidi's car when she turns 16.

We set up a puzzle table for my mom for when she is hanging out in the family room with Darrell.

I got to see Kendall for 5.2 seconds - but it was fun

Champions Club

Great seats! BUT we were in direct sunlight. 

Luckily, the tickets were club level and we could sit inside too in the AC!

We ended the night by watching Husker volleyball in a fun bar!

This week is Chris traveling for his new job - Heidi is getting her braces off and we prep for Halloween, a Disney trip and soon-to-be Thanksgiving!

Dogs, End of Volleyball, & Night of the Races

This will be a quick one - JV volleyball officially ended last week. They won both their games and Heidi played great! We are enjoying this break before club season starts for sure!

The dogs are VERY hairy right now as their groomer took a leave of absence BUT they get groomed today - so excited!

We had the St. Jude fundraiser  - which was fun to run around with some parents we haven't seen in awhile. We had a little drama back at home - short version - Heidi learned some lessons on who she can and cannot trust to be in our house - some neighborhood boys thought it was ok to make fun of Lucy and throw multiple apples down our basement stairs... yeah. But we tried to have some fun even though there were many yelling on the phone to back home. Awwww teenagers... Heidi hasn't had her phone for over 24 hours and might be melting...

Lucy was proud she is almost as tall as Jenn...
