Happy 4th of July! Chris and I both had a 4 day weekend, so we took advantage of it and had some fun. First, we all went for few hours to Top Golf. It was fun playing the different games
On the 4th - we decided to hang out at home, play games and try to survive the heat!
Lucy was super excited to wear her outfit she put together :)
We also decided to get a new toy - a slushy machine (it was on sale :) ) - it was fun making different slushies and it helped with the 100+ degree weather.
We had a "water" pong tournament which was fun!
Chris made a shrimp boil which was full of flavor and very delicious!
We couldn't take a heat anymore and moved into the basement to play KanJam.
We jokingly only got snaps and sparklers and actually had fun as our neighbors put on a real fireworks show!
Now Saturday... I do not know why it started, but Jim and Chris decided we needed a trashy 'Merica day. They coordinated outfits and Jenn and I followed their lead. We even went to the local hole-in-the-wall for dinner, which everyone was entertained by the goofyness.
The day included a hilarious knock off Hamilton musical from Nicholas and Lucy and ended with an all-in karaoke party.

It was a very active and fun weekend for sure! Next up is prepping for an Omaha trip!
