The Weekend

We had another great weekend. It was nicer weather, so the kids are outside more. I think Heidi rode her bike about every day. The neighbor kids are coming out to play and overall we are excited for summer!

We ran our final errands before our vacation and I had to go to Sephora for some eye liner. Lucy came with me and WAS.IN.HEAVEN! She loved it - so much. Then when she figured out you can try some of the makeup (the worker showed her how) - she was hooked. She can't wait to go back and had the whole store in stitches. She was even helping customers pick out shades and they all bought what she recommended - seriously. She even asked if she could have her birthday party there. Ha. It was so funny watching her own that store.

We leave tomorrow for Disney!!! SO excited! We are packed and ready to go! Just ened to get through the last couple days of work!

Father Daughter Dance

What a beautiful weekend! We were busy all weekend, but in a good way. First, Chris had to travel for work and he got a red mustang convertible as his rental. The girls enjoyed being dropped off at school in it.

Lucy has started this new thing of hiding under a blanket and watching her iPad. I seriously think she doesn't think we can see her or something...

You never know what game or store or what kind of creative thing Lucy is going to come up with. This was her store that she demanded Chris wear the veil and it was quite entertaining.

Father daughter dance! Everyone got dressed up and heading to dinner and the dance. I hope this isn't the last year for Heidi, as she said her friends were the oldest there... - but it was very cute!

 It wouldn't be a dance if makeup and hair stuff wasn't all over my bathroom...

Spring has arrived! Which means, the soft top is back on the jeep!!! We had a good time driving around and enjoying the weather this weekend!

A Good Heart and A Birthday

We had a good and busy week. I'm another year older, Lucy had a heart check up and we got to have some fun family time.

First, Heidi and a couple of her fellow friends/cheerleaders, volunteered on Saturday at a fundraiser for a family. They were full out servers and were handing out food, refilling drinks and more. They did awesome. I think it was a great lesson for them and Heidi said she would do it again! 

Little Lu had her heart check up and more than 3.5 hours later - we have a clean bill of health! She was hilarious. She had the whole cardiology department in stitches and they all just loved her.  Her heart is great and we don't have to go back for another year!

We also had our end of the year cheer gathering. It was nice. We got to put all our trophies in the case and get some awards. I can say cheer is done for this school year!

Then it was my birthday and of course we went to Fiesta Jalapeno and they treated us right!

 Quick funny - Chris asked Heidi to grab him a beer... she grabbed this instead. hahaha

On top of all the activities and birthdays - Lucy had a birthday party for a classmate at an old skating rink... I don't think much has changed since 1980...

 It was a good week and weekend. We are getting close to spring break! We can't wait!
