Birthday Boy

Before we get to the birthday boy, Heidi had a unique opportunity this week and cheered for a baseball game. Yes - a little weird. The coaches of the team are good friends of ours and they wanted to try something else to pep up the boys. It ended up being a great time and I think all the kids had fun!

Heidi also had her high school volleyball camp. She is really liking volleyball. It was great to see her hustle and really try hard. She also did pretty darn great. For just starting this year, I'm impressed for sure!

Now the birthday boy! He had a full weekend to celebrate. We of course went to Fiesta Jalapeno. We saw Toy Story 4 (its awesome of course), we went to Hof Brau Haus and even got to take Remy to eat at Fat Heads. Big Weekend!

 Remy is getting bigger...

 Remy was trying to get in the bath with Lucy. They are quite funny together!

It was a great weekend and I could see us taking Remy with us to Fat Heads all summer long. He was a hit!

Now we are preparing for visitors this week! Soon Blake, Nana and Grandpa Jeff with be arriving! We are excited.

It Took a Month

It took a month... for Lucy and Remy to truly become friends. I think it was mainly on Lucy's part. Remy would try to play with Lucy but often just sat and looked at her. They are becoming little buddies!

Heidi has started her singing lessons... this is a trial for the summer to see how it goes...

Remy got his official food bowl set. I think Chris kicked his other one enough to order a nice one. So far - no spilled food or water!

Remy finally was able to meet Cooper across the street. They played a little and then did the stare down game for awhile. I think they will become friends!

When I work from home - I have been standing at my dresser to work. I have a standing desk at the office and can't stand to sit at home. Its actually the perfect height. Remy often joins me for his naps and I think he thinks our bed is a giant dog bed...

They have come a long way...

Happy Father's Day weekend! We relaxed, watched movies and did everything daddy wanted. Remy showed his love by licking everything on Chris' head. It's his favorite thing to do with Chris. I don't know if he really lays with him too long before more licking occurs.

It might be because we have a giant screen, but Remy totally watches movies with us. Complete with tilting his head and jumps if anything occurs to quickly.

Happy Birthday Heidi and Hello Summer!

Summer is here! The weather has been wet but nice days in between the rain. We have been trying to take Remy for walks on a consistent basis to get him use to the leash. He is doing better each time and the girls like getting to go to the playground often.

The last day of school FINALLY got here! We have a 1st grader and a 6th grader now!!!

 Remy is growing at a rapid rate!

This was the first day of summer... the girls on their iPads...lovely. I was working from home and needed the peace and quiet!

Friday was Heidi's birthday! She is now 11! To enjoyed the cards from family and we went shopping in the evening.

 Remy really loves to be under something...

Saturday was Heidi's birthday. She invited a few friends for lunch, a movie and ice cream. It went well!

 Ben and Lucy insisted getting into the kennel...

Today the babysitters finally started and it feels like summer!
