Brewdog Dog House

What a fun weekend! We went to Columbus, Ohio to the Brewdog Dog House hotel and brewery...yes, it is a brewery that happens to have a hotel that is SUPER dog friendly.

We got three rooms between the Belciks and ourselves - the girls/kids shared one and then the adults had their own. We had patios, super nice beds and of course shower beer...yes, there is a fridge in the shower so you can drink beer while you are getting ready.

We were of course excited to go, but I was a little nervous to have to entertain the kids and wrangle the dogs. Everything turned out better than expected! The kids had a blast - so much fun that they want to go back in August or at least make it a yearly thing. The dogs did well. They barked a LOT and we had to correct Rizzo from barking a lot. He just found his voice about a week ago and he was one of the youngest dogs there. There were a lot of dogs - I mean - imagine a popular bar/patio and everyone brings at least one dog. It was fun to see everyone's dogs and there were no dog fights! One dog would start barking and you had 30 dogs chime in. You could bring your dogs everywhere except the inside restaurant, but luckily the weather was perfect and we ate on their huge patio.

There is an interactive museum, an arcade, axe throwing, dog park, games everywhere from Jenga to ping pong to anything you could imagine and more. They had a huge variety of drinks and the food was some of the best brewery food we have ever eaten. At 7pm, everyone had cookies and a free stout beer and in the morning a A+ breakfast buffet with free beer-mosas. The grounds were small enough, the kids could stick together and go where ever, and we didn't have to worry. They even managed a pretty fun game of hide-n-go-seek.

The adults enjoyed some good drinks, actually relaxed and had some really fun conversations. He are the random pictures. I didn't gather Chris' or Jenn's pictures yet.

Lastly, it has become common to stop by Dairy Queen after beach volleyball - we only have a couple of weeks left!

This week is preparing to FINALLY go to OMAHA! We are beyond excited, probably going to cry, but so so so excited to see family. We miss everyone!
