We spent our weekend in Toledo for volleyball and had a fun, but very exhausting time. The team played well and every single set went to the wire-like 24-26, 23-25 etc. Unfortunately, most sets tipped the wrong way and they lost. We ended up 10th overall but we will take it! I was very proud of our team. They played hard and truly was so much fun to watch!
Heidi's had a friend's birthday party Friday and I can't believe how much older all the girls look! Everyone except Heidi in this picture will be going to a different high school! Crazy!
She wouldn't sit still, but Lucy had her hearing checked and passed with flying colors!

Back to volleyball... Heidi got to play all around and did an amazing job in all her positions. We went against some really TALL teams - like have you seen a 6'2" 14-year-old? But Heidi would hit through their blocks and score. It was awesome. Maybe they weren't used to blocking a short outside hitter!

Lucy was a good sport with having to wake up early, travel and in general, just hang out for 13 hours each day. It does help that Lucy's younger brother is there too, so they can hang out! We have more tournaments this weekend and a father-daughter dance! Busy busy!
