Volleyball

We had our first three-day tournament for the year! For Saturday and Sunday, we didn't have to be there until 1:30, which was a nice break from 7am arrivals. The girls played their hearts out and over those tow days - didn't lose a single set and went 6 - 0. They were amazing!

Monday they were fighting for the championship match and unfortunately lost! Boo! They ended up 3rd overall which is still awesome. Heidi wanted a medal and missed it by 1 position! 

Back tracking a little... Heidi had her new boy she is "talking" to over and Lucy was doing a good job of supervising  and bugging them :)

It was also Valentine's Day! Heidi received her presents early, but Lucy opened her and loved them! Now we just need to squeeze in time to write thank yous! :)

Side note - biggest pro of having the afternoon wave - the parents want to have some adult beverages during the breaks! This bar was packed like a college bar and cheering got a little louder afterwards.

We just have two little days of school, work, and trip prepping and then we are off to Orlando for some Disney and more volleyball! Big week for sure!

Twins

 

It was a calm-before-the-storm kind of weekend. We really didn't have a ton to do and made the best of some freetime. Lucy has been begging to go to a new store in Lakewood filled with Kawaii/Anime fun stuff. We went and she was in love! 

It was pretty funny - Lucy had dance Saturday morning and Heidi went on a group date on Saturday. I don't think Heidi planned to twin with her sister and I had to capture the moment. Proof that how teenagers dress now is like they are just wearing dance outfits! 

Lucy will have presents to open for Valentine's Day but Heidi decided to spend her money on getting her nails done. They are very cute and just in time for the group date - ha!

This week is of course Valentine's Day, we have some practices and then head into a 3-day tournament this weekend BUT at least it is local to Cleveland! Busy times ahead!

Selfies

 

This weekend was a more relaxed weekend for sure. Heidi had some team bonding activities, Chris and I had a date night, and Lucy took so many selfies on my phone! ha.

Heidi's team did an escape room and then made pizzas at a fun cooking place. It was fun and honestly, the pizza was pretty good!

I was mad I didn't take a picture before eating - we finally made it back to Momochos and it was amazing! I can't wait to go back again!

Chris took us to a virtual shooting range. Basically, it had a bunch of games and target practice with guns that were close to being real, but just lasers. It was fun for sure!
