The Weekend

We actually had a great weekend - but I failed to take pictures! We had some volleyball, watched football, stopped by the apple orchard and a craft fair as well. The weather was beautiful - so lots of patio hanging out.

The dogs are SO hairy but still don't get groomed for a couple of weeks!

We stopped by the Belciks for a bit on Saturday - included a whole show by Nicholas and Lucy and some karaoke.

At the craft fair - Chris picked up the pair of drink holders and score keepers.

Lucy's last regular season game - then we go to playoffs, but it is almost over!

Lucy was captain again!

Senior Homecoming

Heidi had her Homecoming this weekend. We had literally perfect weather and everything went well! We took SO many pictures, but I tried to narrow them down to just a few.

First - Lucy had two more volleyball games which were great to watch. They both went to 3 sets and they won one and lost one. We are so happy Lucy is enjoying playing volleyball. Also - nothing better than Chris having to line judge - he committed to the role and the ref even complimented him afterwards. haha Lucy also got to be captain for the game, which was awesome!

Onto Homecoming! Everyone met up at Coe Lake as usual for photos. It was SO packed. The pictures can't even show how packed it was. It was a wee bit chaotic to try to coordinate excited teenagers for photos with about 500+ people everywhere. Plus, the sprinklers turned on at some point at the park which forced people to group up even more. The pictures turned out great and we are so happy Heidi loved her Senior Homecoming!

We did start off by taking more couple shots in our neighborhood, which I'm glad we did. It would have been too hard to take a ton of just Heidi and Noah at the lake.

My partners in crime to get through homecoming weekend.

Lucy doing some test shots for Heidi - plus she looked adorable in her outfit she picked out.

Even BIGGER news - Heidi has been already accepted into college at Bowling Green! Then a day later, she found out she was accepted into the forensics science department as well! She was so excited as it is limited to who gets straight in and most have to do pre-forensics. She now 100% wants to go to Bowling Green. We have an invite-only forensics science event on the 1st that we will attend and Heidi can not wait!
