Benson Boone - Start of School - Volleyball & a Tree???

We had a busy week! It started off with Lucy's birthday present and she went to her first full concert - Benson Boone - it was a show! I have a feeling Lucy now will be skewed on concerts as this set the bar very high. I knew very little about the artist prior to the show, but he sang amazingly, was flipping, jumping and running all over the stage, interacting with fans, flying over the crowd etc. It was a very fun, entertaining show and Lucy loved it! We went with the Belciks and had Nicholas and Lucy sat together and Jenn and I sat together just a couple rows up.

 This was his opening act - he could sing as well, but very mellow compared to the actual concert.

First concert in the books! The next day - Heidi had her official first day of school, complete with her kiddie backpack. She is a Senior!

On Thursday, it was finally Lucy's turn to start 7th grade!

On Sunday, we had another volleyball game for Lucy and they won! They did a great job and Lucy really was fun to watch. The confidence is growing and we are enjoying watching her play.

We also had our fantasy draft this weekend (I said it was busy!). We rolled some hot dogs and hung out with some friends. Of course the champ, Bryan, had to make an entrance as well :)

Football season is here!

One last item for the to do list was taking care of this tree. The roots are starting to affect our house and patio as well as it was growing into our house. It was time to start to get it down before we had to spend way too much money getting it down or damage to our house.

I came back from running errands to this... supposedly it is ok and we are tackling it again today. No damage to the house - the tree isn't quite taken care of yet... I'm putting on my patience pants and trusting Chris' plan with his plan...
