I really hope this weather sticks around! It was a great fall week and weekend for sure. Heidi and Chris finished off the tree and no one got hurt and nothing was damaged. win-win. I also helped drag the pieces deep into the forest behind us, but now we just have a tree trunk that we will continue to cut further down until we can get the stump grinded down. It was a very entertaining process and glad it all went well.
We had the back-to-school night at Heidi's school where you follow her schedule around. Kind of funny going when your kid is a senior and knows what to do, but Heidi dared us to go, so we went. Apparently, black pants and a jean jacket is the official uniform of moms now, so we had to take a photo against some lockers to remember it. I should have gone on a campaign to take a picture with every woman dressed the same. All joking aside, the teachers adore Heidi and it looks like Heidi is going to have a great year.

We ended the weekend with a couple of Lucy's volleyball games. She is doing great! Her serves are improving and she really had some great passes etc. They won 1 game and lost the other, but overall - did great!
