First - love the random pictures from school! Lucy also got invited to be on the school's science competition team! My understanding is she will practice with her team and eventually there is a science event. We are excited to see how to works out.
Lucy put in the work and tried out for several volleyball teams - we knew it was going to be tough but she made it! I do not love the volleyball tryout process and it is so hard as a parent when you have a kid who wants to do something, but can't just join a team. It literally was 30-40 girls at each club trying out for less than 10 spots. Lucy is beyond thrilled and we are excited to join a new volleyball club!
Val and I jetted off to Chicago for our annual girls trip. We lucked out with beautiful weather, which meant lots of walking and hanging out.
Chicago trip would not be complete without a stop at the Oven and Pizza Grinder. This place never disappoints!

I found out Lucy got offered a contract while she was at school - so I had to decorate a little for her!
Now it is onto Halloween! Maybe we will slow down, but life is busy but good!
