More Pictures and a Birthday Babs

I figure I better download some pictures before I have too many! First - of course - some random pictures of Lucy and Heidi!

The hair is starting to hold its curl - this is after a day of people touching it and it still curls... Lucy might actually have curly hair...

We have been having dance parties and Heidi is quite the dancer. Her favorite song right now is Gangnam Style and she can sing right along - I can't even do that! Now if I can get her to do the dance moves, I bet we would have a youtube video! ha!

Grandma Babs and Grandpa Darrell arrived for a quick visit! They needed some more Lucy and Heidi time, especially since last time Lucy was in the hospital the whole time!

Grandma Babs celebrated her birthday with us and you know how much my mom likes to NOT pose for pictures. So as punishment - I'm posting multiple pictures of Babs, then maybe next time she will pose normal... but I think they are good pictures anyways. :)

And I had to snap one quick shot of Grandpa Darrell - he always manages to hide behind either a video camera or his camera - so I wanted to make sure he was included. :)

We are so very happy they were able to see us again and it will be sad to see them go tomorrow!

Lucy The SLEEPER

Lucy slept through the night for a total of 8 and 1/2 hours straight! She has always been a good sleeper and I could feel her sleeping through the night coming on...

Let's hope it continues and the waking up once during the night becomes less and less!

We were planning to transition her into we room and crib this weekend anyways and I think it's the prefect time! Plus our new video baby monitor arrived (thank you target gift card givers) :)

Yeah!

Two Months

Lucy is two months and doing great! Yesterday we had her 2 month cardiology appointment and she was awesome! She was smiling and interacting with everyone she met - really quite fun. The doctor said her heart sounded great and decided not to do an echo until 4 months.

Then today was her 2 month check up with her pediatrician and we had an opposite experience. Lucy was antsy and ended up fussing through the whole thing - go figure! Plus yesterday she started to get a rash. The doctor thinks she is allergic to maybe her lotion? Don't know. It isn't that bad but we don't want it to get worse. From a health stand point Lucy is great!

She is weighing in at 10lbs 3ozs and is 21 and 3/4 long - the EXACT same size as Heidi at this age. Pretty crazy huh? I think it puts her in the 25% for height, weight and head.

She received three shots and is cranky still - which is understandable! I hope she sleeps tonight and is good for her first day at daycare!

The Gonzales' (and a few randoms too!)

I'm going to warn you - my photography is horrid for this blog. I think 90% are blurry - but its what I have... Grandpa Jeff left after his two week stay. Heidi was very sad to see him leave, but she keeps saying: "We will see him at Thanksgiving? Right? And that's after Halloween". ha.

The same day, the Gonzales clan came to visit and to help out for the next week. It's nice to be able to keep Lucy out of daycare some more and have family here.

Lucy is definitely smiling and interacting more. I'm trying REALLY hard to get a good picture...so far...no luck. Its awesome having her interact more! It makes me excited for the fun times ahead!

Heidi got decked out for the game this weekend...too bad it didn't help...so painful to watch...and live in Ohio...BUT at least we all got decked out and showed our pride.

Oh and Uncle Brett is here too and yes - he is sitting at the kids table...drinking a beer. :) Brett is always up for a good time and we are happy he finally made it here to Cleveland for a visit.

Heidi had some built up energy and decided to jump off the couch. We have been telling her not to do it for ages and I finally gave in. I thought, if she hurts herself, she will learn her lesson...well she took a knee to the face and what did she learn? Don't jump off the couch. ha.

Chris almost had Lucy laughing tonight and I tried really hard to capture it. I got blurry pictures until, of course, the crying one is clear. Oh well...

Lucy sleeping and if you look closely - not only is her hand just chilling in the air, but her fingers are threaded through her blanket. Pretty funny.

After her bottle this morning, Brewski thought it was cool to share her pillow. Speaking of the dogs - they went to get their teeth clean and poor Brewski had to have 10 teeth pulled. The doctor said its very common with diabetic dogs - this poor dog - can he get a break? He is finally starting to act normal again, but I hope he will be able to eat again!

Tomorrow is the big cardiologist appointment for Lucy and Wednesday is Lucy's 2 month check up and gymnastics for Heidi. Big Week!
