Beer Bus Fun

 

This weekend was uneventful compared to last weekend, which was a welcomed change. Besides some practices, we were able to just relax. Chris and I went on a beer bus tour with our neighbors and it was a blast.

Oh and now it is Mr. Rizzo to you. We purchased a bow tie for him and we think he pulls it off nicely.

Chris is traveling all week, but it is a normal week of work, practices, and homework. This weekend is nothing which is great as well! Soon it will be traveling to Indy, Philly, and then Punta Cana! 

Disney + Volleyball 2023

Ready for a picture download?! The following pictures might be a little out of order as some are from Chris, some are screenshots, and some are from me. 

We traveled to Orlando for an extended stay because of Heidi's volleyball. We went to Hollywood Studios on Thursday as a whole family and Epcot as a whole family on Friday. It was hot, but wonderful. Then Saturday, I took Heidi to volleyball and Chris took Lucy back to Hollywood Studios. Sunday and Monday, Chris took Heidi to volleyball (which included a Hawaiian day) and I took Lucy to Epcot on Sunday and Magic Kingdom on Monday. We finally all joined back together as a family Monday night at Disney Springs. On Tuesday, we had a quick breakfast and we were off back to Cleveland. 

It was a great trip. We got used to the heat or really, we just knew we were going to be sweaty. The only bummer was the hotel we HAD to stay in because it was Stay-to-Play for the tournament. It reminded me of a Spring Break hotel where some things are broken and you might try to squeeze 10 of your friends in there! Luckily, we weren't in there too much and it made us all appreciate the nicer rooms for sure!

Heidi's team didn't perform the best and we ended up 49th out of 64 teams. They did end on a high note and played really well on the last day. Also, 2 of the first 3 teams we played ended up being 1st and top 4 of the whole tournament, so that makes us feel a little better. We have a couple weeks off and then Chris and Heidi head to Indy for a tournament!

It seriously was a great trip! We are getting back into the swing of things and looking forward to some future tournaments and spring break!
