We had a lovely weekend filled with friends, skateboarding, shopping, volleyball, and relaxing. The picture above is Heidi trying on all her clothes to decide what she is bringing to college vs. we are keeping here. In the digging we found the sweatshirt she "borrowed" from Grandma Babs probably at least 5 years ago. Whoops. Heidi said she is still keeping it though :)
Friday night we headed to the Belciks for a casual hangout. Lucy wanted her first skateboarding lesson and the Belciks graciously let us borrow their old pads for safety. It was beyond perfect weather and we had a lovely time having garage and driveway beers.
Jim, ex baseball player, convincing Chris he could swing fast and not hit his nose. Don't worry - Chris didn't fall for it - hahahaha
We discovered all the extra skateboards were great leg rests while hanging out.
Lucy did pretty darn well her first few times. She is ready to learn more.
More lessons are coming!
Lucy also wrapped up her volleyball camp for school. Practices start this week!
