Cheerleading!!!

Before we get into cheerleading - I had to post two quick pictures of Lucy. She is quite fun and FULL of personality... We even got her to say "Hi" To grandma Babs on the phone! once she said it, she wouldn't stop saying it - cute!

Heidi did her Cheerleading camp this week! We started off rough - I thought it didn't start until Wednesday and we missed Tuesday's practice. Whoops! Then when we did go to practice, Heidi was a little overwhelmed and didn't seem that into it. But we survived. I wasn't sure if she would actually perform or even know anything after watching her in practice, but you get her in front of a crowd and she was into it - she might have actually had fun! Gasp - I know!

The pictures are as good as they can get - I was wearing Lucy in the baby Bjorn - dodging a crowd and dealing with fading light... It might be a game of where's Waldo - but lucky Heidi did manage to stay in pretty front row spots!

All the high schoolers were soooo good with her and making her feel comfortable. She latched onto one girl in particular and they were buddies the whole time.

 She even got to go cheer the football players onto the field. She is closest to the sign on the left.

Lucy loved watching her cheer and was hamming it up for the cheerleaders. She zonked out as soon as she hit the car!

Here are the random cell phone pictures we captured as well! Heidi loved it. She might not like practice, but she likes to perform! Now she is running around the house chatting and cheering!
