Normal Weekend

Whew...it was a plain ole normal weekend - that just happened to be the 4th of July. While everyone else was out celebrating the 4th - we got to bed at 9! We used the weekend to get back organized, clean, and relax! Here are the random pictures from the weekend!

Heidi and Lucy playing well together (I have to take pictures when they are nice to each other since they do tend to drive each other bonkers)

Heidi wore one of her new dresses this weekend and I had to take pictures of her. She of course had to pose with her "American Girl" dolls - and nope - they aren't really - but she can't tell the difference :)

And in true nature, there was Lucy wanting her picture taken too.

Before I could get a decent shot of them - they were over it and ran away!

Ready for the day to begin. We decided on Saturday to have a fun day - ate at Fat Heads - played outside and mommy and daddy could have some cocktails. :)

Don't worry - its pink lemonade! And she posed herself. I took the picture - she ran off and Chris and I were like - Did she really flash the peace sign?

Lucy wearing her new dress as well - she doesn't wear dresses that often but I think she is starting to love them. She realized how easy it is to show off her belly...to anyone...

Heidi wanted to race!

Lucy caught up but then soon got confused and made a wrong U-turn...

Soon it was time to play in the water...

It was a fun evening. We ended with s'mores and a nice fire. The bugs were bad again - but after reading up on some home remedies on the internet - we were rubbing dryer sheets and garlic on us... I hate to say it - but we didn't get any more bites. I also saw a mosquito hover over my leg and decide not to land. We just might smell like garlic and dryer sheets for the rest of the summer!

Lastly, Heidi wore another pretty new dress from Grandma Gonzales and I had to take a couple of pictures!

Guess who was waiting for her picture too?

And she also likes to mimic Heidi too!

Her bump is getting better. As you can probably tell from the pictures - she has a black eye now. The bump is still there but it looks better every day. Our tough little cookie!
