Happy Birthday Lucy!

We had a fun-filled weekend and our little spunky Lucy is officially 2!!! I managed to get her to wear her birthday shirt and a tutu! hehe.

When Lucy was sleeping - Heidi and some neighbors kiddos helped prepare Lucy's presents.

When Lucy woke up from her nap - she wasn't thrilled to be up but once she realized there were presents - she perked up!

She boycotted the bow and tutu half way through presents...

After lunch we headed to our local corn festival - very similar to Millard Days in Omaha. It was very hot and we didn't last long but it was still fun! Only Heidi rode rides. Lucy was too little.

 Back to home for cake aka whip cream time!

Then it was Lucy's first time for a fire and smores!!!

Everyone woke up happy and wanting to wear matching dresses - Lucy's is slightly too big but it didn't phase her. Chris got them from his trip to California!

Breakfast together - for the record I fed them eggs, bacon and hash browns - I go upstairs and daddy feeds them powdered doughnuts. Nice.

It was a great weekend - the kids had a good time! This week we have Lucy's 2 year old check up at the doctors  - we will see just how big she has grown!
