Adults Only

My work has been...busy...very very busy. We switched our main system and I'm in charge of reporting and analytics. Which means all our analysts and business report people have turned to me to help switch their reports. You can only guess how busy. I literally have no pictures of kids this week.

Random pictures... So we got new neighbors who seem nice enough. We haven't had a whole lot of time to meet and greet. Unfortunately, we are experiencing some new neighbors pains and they have two - very vocal - basset hounds. I love animals, especially dogs, but their constant barking and howling - is just too much. its at 2 in the morning, at 6 in the morning  - all throughout the day... When I have to work from home - I have had to hold my meetings in my master closet. I put a timer and on Friday - they barked for 2 hours straight. 2 hours. I hope they will adjust to their environment soon, but I have a feeling - something will need to be said. Ugh!

On a different topic - Chris wanted a cake this weekend. He used our count down to Disney as an excuse to get a cake. Too funny. The girls loved it.

Our neighbors down the street rented a limo and we went to 4 different breweries on Saturday. I couldn't drink because of medication, but I still had a blast! It was a nice date night out and we all enjoyed ourselves!

 Fingers crossed this week is a little less hectic and then we are off to Branson!

Summer

Swim lessons have come to an end and Heidi did fantastic! Lucy improved, but has along way to go still. I might do one more session this summer for her!

It was perfect weather this weekend - so we finally headed out to the zoo!

The girls have been begging me to dye their hair - so fine - I did. I only did some pink streaks through Lucy's hair and tried to dye Heidi's tips... they didn't turn out - you can't see the dye in Lucy's hair at all - and Heidi's sort of worked - but not really. I think I should have let it process for longer. We might try again this next weekend...

Lots of riding in the Jeep again. It was beyond beautiful out...

 It now feels like summer!

Summer

It was a hot summer weekend and we rode around in the jeep almost all weekend! We rode through the metro parks and it was beautiful...and....I didn't take a single picture. Whoops. Next drive  - I will plan to take some pictures! So, I just have some random pictures...

Lucy owning gymnastics. I think she found her niche. She is pretty darn good at it...

Picture from the babysitter - proud mama moment - Heidi went off the diving board and swam to the edge. This is HUGE! Last summer she wouldn't leave the shallow end - now she jumping off boards, going all the way under and swimming by herself! She said she is ready for water slides and fun rides next! I plan to attend her lesson on Thursday!

Heidi had a friend's birthday party this weekend - so we didn't see much of her and when she is away - we get a bed mate. Chris sent me the 2nd picture and goes - the sun is up - but its still a full moon in here...

Lucy insisted on having pencils in her hair - no idea why...

 This week is hopefully a little quieter for us because of the holiday! Then it will get hectic again!
