Normal Weekend

Felt more like a normal weekend this weekend... It was chilly and cold but great fall weather! First, Remy got his haircut!

Chris bought himself a new smoker. It was always in the plans that if he enjoyed smoking meat and did it on a regular basis, we would eventually upgrade. Upgrade he did. He got a auto-pellet-feeder-wifi-enabled-beast. He is thrilled and wants to smoke so many things now! He did his burn in of chicken and it was delicious.

Did you know they sell Biden walking candy dispensers that poop candy? hehe I was buying the girls halloween candy to put together their fun baskets since we aren't going trick-o-treating - and I came across this gem... just had to have it...

While I was out getting candy - the girls had an epic nerf gun war!

I jokingly ordered a new sweatshirt and I'm in love. It is the most comfortable sweatshirt around... and it's just amazing... Heidi says I'm embarrassing.

Remy got his costume. They were having a huge sale on Shop Disney and I thought it would just be easier to buy his costume. He doesn't love it but treats help!

Lucy got part of her costume. The other arrives today. Since we aren't going out for halloween, we let Lucy get a really nice costume. She picked the queen Anna dress from Disney - with the boots! She wanted to model the boots.

Perfect fall weather for some driveway hang outs!

Heidi played volleyball again. She did well - but she has two really weak teammates that it is painful to watch and they beg not to play. It's hard when there are girls like Heidi who just wants to play, but they must give equal time to everyone.  I watched Heidi and her skilled teammates try so hard to cover them and help, but unfortunately they can't always do it. Heidi has a few more games and at least the experienced girls are laughing and having fun - that's all that matters. Heidi has her focus on club volleyball now - tryouts are in three weeks!

A couple of weeks ago, while looking for an outfit for picture day, we realized Heidi has outgrown all of her clothes. She only has volleyball t-shirts, exercise pants and shorts and a couple of sweatshirts. I made a promise that one of the days we would go to the mall and do some shopping. We went after the game and it was great. All the stores were doing a good job of safety and Heidi scored some nice clothes. She still doesn't have a ton of clothes and I have a feeling that is what she wants for Christmas, though anything I pick out is gross. Gift cards it is!

Our Lucy.

Remy got to hang out with a friend too... That's Cooper from the across the street and they play amazing together.

We started the fireplace this weekend. Love it!

Nothing too special about this week, just work and school. The girls have a four day weekend, so we might try to do something special but thats about it!
