The Weekend

Heidi had a check up for her teeth. She has been using her brace and the results are wonderful! The brace is helping her breathe better, straighten her teeth and teach her where her tongue should be. We go back at the end of June for another check up.

Rizzo is 4 months old and 5 pounds! He is a smart little cookie - I taught him sit, lay ad roll over in a matter of moments and working on some other commands as well. 

It was a BIG week - Heidi got her first shot of the Pfizer vaccine! We got the approval Wednesday evening and I booked one of the first appointments on Thursday! She will get her second on June 3rd. She had minor symptoms but was mainly super tired for about 24 hours. She was very excited to receive it. 

Gorgeous evening to play outside...

Her last regular volleyball game was this weekend and they play in the championship is next weekend. We don't know what bracket they play in yet - it is based on how you did all year. This weekend, they placed 3rd in Gold and beat out some very highly ranked teams. I was SO proud of her. It was extremely hot in the gym and everyone wanted to pass out! Heidi is so much fun to watch. Chris watched her in the morning and was blown away how good she is doing as setter.

Even though she was at a disadvantage of height - Heidi held her own!

So tired...

We got a new fire pit! It is amazing - you don't smell like fire, no burnt clothes and it puts out tons of heat. I didn't understand it at first, but now I'm in love!

These two are adorable.

We tried whole chickens for the first time on the RecTeq and they were awesome!
