It is a busy time of year for sure!
We celebrated Heidi's birthday with a low-key party. She voted for Top Golf, bundt cakes, and a sleepover with just a couple of friends. It makes it super easy on my part for sure!
I would laugh as they would Snapchat each other when they went up to hit balls and all would be cracking up at how terrible they were at golf. They did improve over time but it was entertaining.
Last week was also the last day of school for Lucy! Lucy is a 4th grader now - kind of crazy! The last day of school always is a fun-and-field day. I think Lucy had fun :)
Side note - I actually had to go into the office on Friday and Remy and Rizzo were watching me like a hawk as I got ready - they knew something was up!
Unlike Heidi, Lucy is always willing to pose for a picture...
Besides everything else, we also had 8th-grade graduation! Heidi gave a speech and also won another scholarship! She has 4 total scholarships and we are thrilled. Anything to help with the steep price tag of high school!

Quick funny... Lucy loves this blue dress - as you can probably guess by the number of pictures and events she has worn it to. She paired it with her pink purse and was ready to own the world. Heidi, Chris, and I were all making jokes watching her walk in on where she was heading - my favorite is she looked like a lady ready to brunch and was going to be rude to the waitress... she is so funny.
It was can tricky to get Heidi to pose for pictures...
Chris took Lucy away from the girls playing golf to give them a break from the little sister. :)

This week is still busy with Heidi's actual birthday, an 8th grade Cedar Point trip, Dave concert, putting our new couch together, and mulching. But it is SUMMER!
