Memorial Day Party and More

Heidi had a friend's birthday and they got some cute pictures...

Memorial Day party was a blast - more on that in a bit. Jason was just modeling how our brand-new chairs all broke. All of them. 

It was spirit week at school and the only day they would model was tourist day!

Just in time for the party, we had the wood guy, Marcus, come and build us another set of garden walls/features, whatever you want to call them. They look great! 

If the weeks aren't busy enough, Heidi had her 8th grade volleyball day. The kids had a blast playing with each other and the teachers. 

I also had a work event and got to see everyone in person. It was fun!

It was great to be able to have the Sunday of Memorial Party. We had about 76 people! 40 of them kids! It actually worked out well. Our patio worked great and didn't seem crowded. The kids played outside mainly and my house isn't too bad!

We made brisket, pork, sausage, smoked cream cheese, smoked cheese, street corn, mac n cheese, some dips, and of course COOKIES!

So many teenagers... they were all great and it was fun seeing the volleyball girls just cream the boys trying to look cool.

We had so much food, I had to pop up another table!

The parents were getting a kick out of the pile of phones from the kids...

The younger kids actually stayed away from the older kids and had fun. I didn't take many pictures of them because I couldn't find them! Lucy had a blast.

I would randomly see dads playing our games and it would crack me up!

It was a success! This week will be the final days of school! Lots of things going on for sure.
