Happy Birthday to Me...

 

We celebrated my birthday this weekend and our neighbor, Jackie, also has my same birthday. We decided to celebrate together and had a blast! We went to dinner and then a dueling piano bar. We might be old but we know how to have fun.

Lucy had a friend's birthday party at a skating rink. I don't know if she will be a professional skater but had fun as well. 

It wouldn't be a birthday without yummy treats!

Divide & Conquer

This weekend we split and covered everything we could. Heidi and Chris headed to Indy for a national tournament and I stayed with Lucy to take her to dance and get things done around the house.

We thought Orlando was a big tournament, this was bigger! There were 1000 teams and I don't know how many courts. The girls did better this round for sure and they were playing in the 16s division! They ended up 34th and we will take it. They went 6 and 2 over the 3 days and played their heart out. We have Philly in a couple of weeks and they have great momentum right now!

It wouldn't be a volleyball tournament without ACAI bowls... they have to make a killing!

The team and coaches celebrated St. Patty's day together too.

I decided to make good use of time and finally get my closet back together! 

I also was able to watch all the games in live stream too. 

Sunday, Lucy and I had some fun and did some activities. 

Now it is back to work. We have two weeks off from traveling before our big travel to Philly and Punta Cana! 

Not Much...

I came down with the stomach flu last week and it knock me out for a few days! Luckily, it seems like no one else in the household has gotten it! It was awful - seriously. 

There isn't much to post about this week as I was quarantined in the guest bedroom for most of it! I do have some random photos - like of Heidi trying to help pick out a swimsuit coverup for Lucy. The only time I can get pictures of her - ha!

We had Lucy's improv class showcase. It was cute. I wished I could have videoed it, but there were only 5 kids and we were in a small room. Lucy did a good job!

It was wacky dress down day at school today and I think Lucy nailed it! 

 4 weeks until Punta Cana, Heidi and Chris head to Indy this weekend for volleyball, and I got summoned for Jury duty for 2 weeks. Busy busy times for sure!
