Last Week of Summer...For Heidi

We see school creeping into our lives and summer being over. Heidi had a few scrimmages last week and we attended our first high school football game for the season as well.

Also, Husker volleyball kicked off with the fun Red/White game. We are excited for that season to start too! We are also going to a couple of games this fall which will be a ton of fun.

This is a first. My family enjoyed Chick-fil-A and I did not. Without getting into too many details, my GI doc is having me be as much as possible gluten-free, dairy-free, no citrus, no caffeine, no tomatoes, no spicy food, no alcohol etc etc. I can eat at Chick-fil-A but if I can't have the spicy chicken sandwich, then what's the point. ha Super restricted diet for the next 4 weeks before we can continue some tests to see what I can add back into my normal day. Don't worry, there is plenty I CAN eat and I have to say after a week of eliminating the irritating food - it's nice not to be bloated or have my belly in pain. I did tell the doctor - the first food I would like to incorporate back is Tequila when I can and he said deal. :)

So many baby fawns in our yard!

The last of the scrimmages... games officially start Tuesday and will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 EST from now until October 12th!

Lucy FINALLY was able to have a playdate with Gabby who she has been Facetiming and playing online with all summer. She is coming over here for the day as well. We are trying to end summer with a bang!
