Day Date Fun

It was a fun weekend! Friday started off with a Christmas in July party at the neighbors' house. On Saturday, Chris and I took advantage of a free uber aka Heidi, and we went on a day date including seeing the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie!

We ended Saturday with Sushi with the family - this way everyone was happy!

I cannot recommend the movie enough! VERY entertaining and fun. Plus it was a gorgeous day out and we had fun running around Crocker Park.

It was a very fun weekend but today is definitely double caffeine day! This week is a big week for both girls - tryouts for volleyball but we will now by Friday what the fall will look like! 
 

Quick Hello

Did we just have another weekend with minimal commitment? YES! Yes, we were productive - like getting school shopping basically done, bathing the dogs, moving around Lucy's bedroom furniture and more - but overall - the only true commitment we had was Nicholas' musical he was in! We smoked some chicken, watched movies and generally enjoyed the nice weather too!

Heidi SWEARS she doesn't feed the dogs but their attention to her eating would say otherwise!

Lucy is continuing to grow! Almost Jenn's height!

We have more volleyball camps this week - then it prepping for next week of tryouts for both our girls! 
 

Nothing Weekend

 

For the first time in a long time - we had NOTHING we had to do this weekend. We used our extra free time to get the yard cleaned up and relax. It was wonderful. Even the dogs enjoyed the relaxing...

And random Disney photos I forgot to download - we don't pay for the individual photos anymore but they are still funny even with the watermark!

This week is a little more busy but nothing we can't handle! 

Omaha

 

Our super quick trip to Omaha is complete! We squeezed in a trip between some volleyball and at least got to see everyone for a little bit!

Cousins always enjoy each other...

We went as a group to the new Minions movie - it was cute.

Celebrated some birthdays.

Went to Fat Putter which is this super over the top putt-putt place! I beat Matt. That is all that matters. :) hehe

We explored the Imaginarium and it was REALLY cool. It is a science museum but WAY better and with an amazing outdoor space. 

Heidi has never gone down a tall metal slide - we heard a lot of banging back and forth and skin screeching... she said never again. 

It took 6 of us - but we did it. It stayed up for 3 seconds.

The cousins were having fun...

Uncle Brett provided us 4th of July entertainment. We walked away with all our fingers and eyebrows - so it was a win!

Lucy is growing quickly - she might pass some people when we come back on Thanksgiving!

It was a great trip. The girls are worn out but had to jump right back into volleyball camps. This summer is going quickly.
