Wishing Fountain...
We went to Village Pointe for some ice cream and to let Heidi run around the courtyard too. Heidi saw the fountain and so I gave her some pennies to toss in there - she thought that was the best thing ever...fast forward to a few days later. We are cleaning out the front bedroom for the arrival of her new bunk beds and she found a box full of coins. She walked away with them and I thought nothing of it... as I returned with some more stuff to the family room - I discover Heidi dropping pennies into the dog's water dish.......um...yeah.......we then had to explain that we only put pennies in fountains and not in the dog's bowl. It was really funny.
Reading...
Heidi loves books and loves to pretend to read. You can tell she has certain lines memorized and you just wonder what she is thinking she is saying. One morning she sat on the bedroom floor and read a book to Taco and Brewski, who sat perfectly in front of her. She even held it out so and showed them the pictures on each page. That alone was super cute. After Heidi finished her book, she turned the book around and goes "Now Taco read!" "Taco READ!!!" Then starts shouting - "TACO RRREEEAAADDD!!!" She was getting upset that Taco wouldn't read the book back to her. Taco just sat there looking at Heidi like you're crazy! We had to explain, honey, dog's can't read. Heidi was very disappointed...
