Zane Lamprey & The 4th

Well let's back up a few weekends ago - first as a final gift for Chris for his birthday, I got us tickets to Zane Lamprey's Drinking Made Easy tour - don't know Zane? Well he is a character to say the least, but mainly a TV host of a drinking show, Three Sheets, that travels the world learning and demonstrating the local drinking customs... His show just got picked up by the Travel Channel - Wednesday at 10pm CST...Check it out... ANYWAYS...Chris and I had a weekend away in Kansas City which was nice - we had a BLAST!!!

This is Pleepleus the monkey - every time you see him, you're suppose to drink... yep - that type of game...

Chris was thrilled - he got his book signed... we got our picture taken with the group too - its on Facebook...

And switching from a weekend away, drinking, having fun to a naked kid... nice... Heidi still loves to be naked - every night before bath time - she escapes the bathroom and runs around... I had more pictures but you get the idea... its funny!

This year for the 4th - we actually went to our neighborhood party - it was fun! Heidi had a blast running around with the neighbor kids... This is pre-party, Heidi all ready to go!

Went to the zoo this last weekend and of course Heidi loved it. We tried two new things - the carousel and the Budgy/Parakeet experience... She loved them! First the Budgy/Parakeet experience you can get these sticks with food and then go in this enclosure and try to feed the birds - Heidi was in there for over an hour... She LOVED it!

Heidi now thinks she can feed anything at the zoo - no worries - it was only peacocks - but she was determined to share her popcorn with anything except us!

Heidi got new shoes (weird - I know) and this time they SQUEAK! They are way too big for her - but that doesn't seem to bother her! She was running everywhere, squeaking away...
